Blending a community pathway, river recreation, canal history, and land conservation, the
Wabash River Trail will run from Huntington, through Wabash, and on to Peru. Following the Wabash River for most
of its 33-mile length, the WRT will create trailheads, provide opportunities for camping and fishing, canoe access
to the river, scenic overlooks, connections to other trail systems and more. Plan to experience the best of the
region's small towns, active communities, pastoral landscapes, farm country, and historic features.
